The Peninsula Senior Center organization was formed in August of 1990 by a group of local citizens who recognized the need for a Community Activities and Senior Center. Once fully organized, a Board of Directors was elected by the membership to pursue fundraising events, prepare building plans and plan programs and services for the Senior population. We now have evolved to serve the community at large.

The purpose of the organization initially was to build a facility to house the Peninsula Senior Activities Center and to provide services and programs that met the needs of our senior citizens.
